The Great Bear: an animation film with a rewilding message for kids

The Great Bear (Den kæmpestore bjørn), is a Danish animation film produced by Esben Toft Jacobsen.  Inspired by Scandinavian mythology it shows the adventure of a brother (Jonathan) and sister (Sophie) venturing into the forbidden magic forest behind their grandfathers house. There they encounter and befriend a huge thousand year old bear.  But there is a big threat lurking; a hunter whose ego is out to kill the bear in order to revenge the destruction of his village.

This is a beautiful animation with a conservation moral, suitable for kids from the age of six and adults young at heart. Highly recommended!
