The last lions: an incredible true story of survival

This is a movie (now available on DVD) with a story narrated by Jeremy Irons and with incredible scenes of rare wilderness beauty; at times heartbreaking. Filmed in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, it portrays the survival of a female lion and her cubs.  The natural drama of the delta once again unfolds, showing the never ending feuds between lion prides and lions versus fierce buffalo and hyenas.

The delta is one of the last strongholds of lions in the world. The film makers Dereck and Beverly Choubert  give us an urgent message to act upon. Lions have decreased from 450,000 animals to an estimated mere 20,000 in just half a century, and many other large cats suffer the same fate.

Please support their plight throught the Big Cats Initiative and cause an uproar!
